Second, collect audio and video French tutorial. This will help you in pronouncing words and how to use them appropriately. You can even save them in your ipod or any compatible audio/video player so you can bring it anywhere and study during your free time.
Third, you can get a software that will help teach you French. There are a lot of softwares that are designed to teach a language. These softwares were built to help you learn French as independently as you can. It has a lot of exercises and activities that you can use to hone your skills in French and to master French. These software also contain tutorials that help teach you French.
Caveat On Teaching Yourself French
While you can relatively be successful in learning French using the tools mentioned above, it is still better if you learn with guidance. No amount of books, multimedia equipment and software can replace an expert teacher on the language. The tools are meant to enhance your learning and to help your teacher, not to replace them.
